Wedding Flower Terms & Conditions

Deposit

To book your wedding flowers we ask for a 20% deposit. This deposit is non-refundable and is deducted from your final wedding flowers invoice. Once the deposit has been received, your event is booked with us. Prices and dates are secure unless stated otherwise.

Quotation & Payment

A quotation for the cost of your wedding flowers will be sent to you after your initial consultation. Quotes are valid for 30 days, however your date is not secure until the deposit is paid, if another couple are interested in your date Muck Home & Floral will contact you before allowing them to book where possible.
You are free to make changes to your order up until 6 weeks before the wedding day unless stated otherwise - total spend must not dip below 90% of quoted price at the point when deposit is paid (e.g. original quote at booking of £2000, could only decrease to £1800).
You will receive a final invoice approximately 8 weeks before your wedding, final payment will be due no later than 6 weeks before the date of your wedding. Payment via bank transfer is the preferred option, however via card payment may also be offered with an additional fee to cover processing costs of the transaction. Payment in full is required at least 6 weeks before your wedding day. If payment is not received, a late fee of 5% will be added to your invoice unless reason for late payment is down to Muck Home & Floral.

Additional consultation(s)

All consultations prior to booking our services and your final details meeting are included, as are all email/text/instagram conversations regarding your wedding florals.
If you require an additional consultation in between booking and your final consultation these are charged at an hourly rate of £20per hour for consultation AND amendments which is added onto your final invoice.

If you would like to arrange a site visit this is also charged as above, however a mileage charge of £1per mile from WR9 7BQ is also charged in addition to the hourly rate and added to final invoice.

Other flowers on your day
If you choose another floral supplier to provide flowers for different parts of your day e.g. Faux florals provided by a stylist you must let Muck Home & Floral know as soon as possible. Faux or dried florals existing within the venue are excluded and do not need to be disclosed. Although this is not always the case, Muck Home & Floral reserve the right to cancel services based on customers using multiple floral suppliers, in this case deposit would be refunded minus a £75 consultation and administration fee.

Cancellation

In the unfortunate event of cancellation, the booking fee cannot be refunded. Complete cancellation of the wedding must be advised in writing via email. Cancellations made less than three months before the wedding date will be invoiced for 60% payment of original quote to cover losses incurred. Cancellations made less than six months before the wedding date will be invoiced for 40% payment of the original quote.

In the unlikely event that Muck Home & Floral have to cancel for unavoidable circumstances where we have not been able to find support from other florists as above, for example in the event of fire, natural disaster, death, serious family illness or tragedy all money paid by the client will be repaid. The company are only responsible for refunding moneys paid, and will not reimburse any other costs incurred by the inconvenience. If we have to take the decision to cancel due to slander, abusive conduct etc, all moneys paid are forfeit and there is no right to any refund.

There are no refunds for cancellations of individual items after the final balance has been paid, unless by the agreement of both parties.

Availability of Flowers

We do not guarantee specific flower/stem types. We will work with your wish lists and if available we will include your specified or discussed flowers/foliages. However, if they are unavailable or of poor quality, we will use suitable alternatives which match closest to your requirements. All fresh flowers are subject to availability and undergo stringent quality checks.

Sickness

Muck Home & Floral is owned and run by Megan, a large number of our weddings and events are flowered by her alone. In the event of her sickness or unavailability for unforeseen reasons Megan will work with other local florists to ensure your flowers are created and delivered as contracted. This will be at no additional cost to customer.

​

Hire of vases, china, candelabras etc.

If the items you are hiring qualify, a £150 hire damage deposit (taken at final payment) is retained til collection and the replacement of any breakages or losses will come out of this fund. Replacement of goods is charged at the current purchase price. Should the item lost/broken only be replaceable in multiples, you will be charged for the minimum number that can be ordered e.g. hurricanes come in packs of 10, if one is broken 10 must be ordered. You will also be charged for delivery or collection of the item(s) being replaced if applicable.


It is the responsibility of the hirer to reclaim any of these costs from the venue if the venue was at fault. Equipment hired remain the property of Muck Home & Floral at all times.

Photographs

Muck Home & Floral reserve the right to take photographs of flowers and the setting prior to the event which may be used for promotional purposes. We may also reach out to your photographer for photographs for promotional purposes, these photographs may be used on our website, brochure, 3rd party directories and/or social media; if you are not happy

for your images to be used like this please make Muck Home & Floral aware in writing ahead of your wedding.

Responsibility

Muck Home & Floral accept no liability for injury, loss or damage to the hirer or any third party with regard to any equipment hired for use at the event.
It is up to the Client to provide correct locations for deliveries. We shall not take responsibility for lateness caused by an incorrect address.
Muck Home & Floral accept no responsibility for damages to the flowers themselves by guests and/or venue staff after we have left the venue.

Complaints

If for any reason you are not satisfied with your flowers, complaints must be made within 36 hours of delivery, along with photographic evidence. No responsibility can be taken with regards to poor condition once flowers have been approved.

Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. By paying your deposit you are agreeing to these Terms and conditions and to any changes that are made. These will always be minor changes to wording only. Any major changes will be presented to you via email.

By Adding your email address below you agree to the above Terms & Conditions relating to your wedding florals - This should be completed separately by all parties getting married and/or any third parties paying directly for these services.
